40,000 LB/HR High Pressure Trailer-Mounted Rental Boiler Reconditioned and Ready for Service
Fremont, California, June 17, 2016 - Nationwide Boiler Inc., the leading supplier of temporary and permanent boiler solutions to customers worldwide, recently completed a major overhaul of one of their trailer-mounted Babcock Wilcox package watertube boilers. This unique, high pressure boiler, built for 700 psi design pressure, can provide 40,000 lbs/hr of saturated steam while operating at pressures from 100 psi to 650 psi. The boiler was originally built in 1994 and was utilized at just one rental project covering fifteen years at an industrial facility in the Southeast USA.
Upon completion of the rental project, Nationwide Boiler technicians performed a full inspection and determined the boiler required major capital improvements before reliable rental service could be resumed. The overhaul included a complete tube replacement, installation of a new low NOx burner, new feedwater and control piping, and new insulation and casing. An ASME witnessed and approved hydrostatic test was performed upon completion of the tube repairs. The boiler is now being stored on the East Coast. It is immediately available for temporary or permanent service worldwide.
