250-Ton Friction Welder Announcement
American Friction Welding Inc. of Brookfield, Wisconsin announces the acquisition of a Thompson 250-ton Friction Welding Machine. This will be the largest direct-drive, rotary friction welding machine available for sub-contract work in North America. It will provide a new size range for fusing solid metal up to 7” diameter. Tube diameters can be accommodated up to 12”. Total part length can reach 114”.
