2007 Manny Goes to Sweco

This award was born from nominations by professionals in local manufacturing environments in the TriState business community to recognize all companies indiscriminate of size, age or ownership, exhibiting success in areas of new jobs, new products and general growth.
Sweco received this award in the category of "New Job Creation" citing the 15,500 square feet expansion to their present facility and the addition of 57 new positions in the last year. The additional positions enhance the already expanding character of Sweco worldwide. The Company has 11 manufacturing locations covering both hemispheres, including its most recent opening in Shanghai, China, and employs nearly 750 people around the world.
New positions will continue to develop as the demand for new product and manufacturing methods are brought to capacity.
