Category 5 High Current protector offers full 20,000 watts of protection and field-tested (with 8/20 micro waveform) real-time CAT 5 functionality. During tests, units were tested repeatedly at 6kV/3kA without failure. Peak voltage seen at output was 33.2 Volts. Protectors are also available for both analog and digital phone circuits, which make them suitable for Voice over IP.
