Available for belt widths ranging from 24-72 in., Superior’s Speed Sensors are used for monitoring speed of a conveyor belt. Enabling operators to control conveyor shutdowns, monitor belt slippage and trigger warning systems, units produce electronic pulses that are interpreted by PLCs. Sensors can be mounted on return roll, clean side roll and troughing wing roll.
