Kolbe Introduces Its New Ultra Casement Windows

Wausau, Wis. -- Enhancing the traditional aesthetic for home designs, Kolbe introduces Ultra Series casement windows with clean detailing and matching extruded aluminum sashes and frames. Constructed and engineered for optimal performance, some window units can achieve ratings up to DP-85. These also meet Energy StarŪ requirements including the Northern climate zone, and pass strict impact test ratings.

As part of Kolbe's Ultra Series, the new casements' sashes are covered with extruded aluminum to add strength, and finished with a durable, 70% PVDF fluoropolymer coating to meet the industry's highest performance criteria. Many exterior trim and color options are available for maximum design flexibility.

A new folding handle assembly comes standard to provide sleek, smooth operation. Stainless steel exterior hardware parts have the greatest level of corrosion resistance against harsh environmental conditions. Sloped sills help direct water away from the openings, while the coped corners on the sash exteriors allow for tight joints. Both features also contribute to the units' clean lines and traditional appearance.
