ASC announces leadership changes for 2013.

November 19, 2012 - ASC announces volunteer leadership changes that will start beginning January 1, 2013. Officers will include Rusty Thompson as Chair, Andy Johnston as Treasurer, Glenn Frommer as Past Chair, and Matt Croson as President. New Executive Committee member for 2013 will be Traci Jensen. In addition, new board members will include: Gerhard Haas, Traci Jensen, Chris Stevens, John Meccia, John McLaughlin, Steve Meenan, and Lex Reynolds.

New Officers, Executive Committee Member and Board Members Begin Terms January 1, 2013



Bethesda, MD –  The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) announces volunteer leadership changes that will start beginning January 1, 2013. The changes include the officers leading the organization, a new executive committee member and seven new member of the Board.



The changes, part of the regular cycle of volunteer leadership changes, are as follows:



ASC Officers for 2013

Chair: Rusty Thompson, President and CEO, Evans Adhesive Corporation

Treasurer: Andy Johnston, Vice President, Adhesives, Ashland Performance Materials

Past Chair: Glenn Frommer, President, ADCO Products

President: Matt Croson, ASC



New Executive Committee Member for 2013

Traci Jensen, Vice President Americas Adhesives, H.B. Fuller



New Board Members for 2013

“ASC has a well rounded volunteer leadership team including senior management, technical experts and a mix of large, medium and small business entities,” notes Matthew E. Croson, president of ASC. “But even more importantly, the Council’s leadership is made up of forward thinking, action oriented individuals who are ready and willing to collaborate to ensure the industry is dynamic, vibrant and focused on innovation. I look forward to working closely with these leaders as we continually work to add value to ASC member companies.”



ASC officers serve a two year term. Executive committee members serve three year terms, as do Board Members. All volunteer positions start on January 1, 2013.



Board members are voted into office by the ASC membership. The vote occurred during August 2012. Executive Committee Members and Officers are voted into office by the Board of Directors. The voting results were announced during the annual membership meeting held Wednesday, October 23, 2012 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown during the Council’s Fall Convention and EXPO.
