Pump Station Level Controller features redundant level sensing.
November 13, 2012 -
Equipped with non-contact ultrasonic sensor, PSL 5.0 is suitable for sewage lift stations, wet wells, and storage tanks. Users can also connect loop-powered pressure sensor for redundant sensing in applications with foam or grease. Controller will continuously recalibrate pressure sensor and automatically switch back and forth from ultrasonic to pressure sensor as required. In addition to isolated 4-20 mA output, PSL 5.0 provides 6 programmable control relays and automatic pump run time logging.

New Pump Station Level Controller with Redundancy
The new PSL 5.0 Pump Station Level Controller from Greyline Instruments features redundant level sensing. It includes a non-contacting ultrasonic sensor and you can also connect a loop-powered pressure sensor for redundant sensing in applications with foam or grease. The PSL 5.0 will continuously recalibrate the pressure sensor and automatically switch back and forth from ultrasonic to the pressure sensor as required.
The PSL 5.0 is designed for sewage lift stations, wet wells and storage tanks. Calibration and relay set points are easy to enter through the Greyline PSL 5.0’s user-friendly keypad and menu system. An automatic pump run time logging and reporting system helps operators to plan pump maintenance and identify “lazy” pumps before they fail. It includes an isolated 4-20mA output and 6 programmable control relays for pump control, pump alternation, and level alarms. Intrinsically safe sensor and a built-in data logger are optional.
