Application levels can be tailored to simple weighing and counting or complex computations, such as totalizing, totalizing to target or over/under checkweighing and checkcounting. Easy-toggle bar graphs show in-process results of activities, such as filling. Configurable softkeys—and even hands-free capabilities—allow users to program functions critical to a particular weighing process. These features help reduce operator workload in multi-step, labor-intensive processes, increasing an individual worker’s productive time.
Further enhancing operator comfort, scale terminals and platforms can be set up in compact, standup or separate component configuration. A rechargeable battery pack and WLAN connectivity allows cable-free operation for maximum flexibility. By adding colorWeight® technology to screen readouts, operators easily know at a glance whether a weight or count is over, under or within the set target range for enhanced ergonomic benefit.
ICS4_5 and ICS685 interface options easily integrate with existing IT systems, second scales and other devices, such as barcode/RFID scanners. Predefined and user-defined label templates in different formats and sizes offer an efficient documentation process as well.
Embedded data storage with alibi and transaction memory allows smart export/import functionality by USB stick or Ethernet, completing the scales’ incorporation into the line and allowing easy analysis of weighing and counting results.
