Dapra Introduces New Ball Nose Inserts with PCD Tips
Dapra Corporation has introduced new precision-ground Ball Nose inserts with PCD tips. These diamond-tipped inserts afford unsurpassed tool life for milling soft, non-ferrous materials such as aluminum and graphite. Their expected life is approximately 50 to 100 times that of normal carbide-coated inserts, providing outstanding wear resistance.
PCD-tipped ball nose inserts are precision-ground to provide a sharp, accurate cutting radius. Available with 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" diameters, these inserts are designed for use with Dapra's standard steel, carbide-core and carbide-shank cutter bodies.
