New RHINO-FEED(TM) Heavy-Feed Cutters and Inserts Allow Extreme Feed Rates for Heavy-Duty Applications up to 4" Diameter
New Heavy-Feed cutters and inserts - part of Dapra Corporation's high-feed RHINO-FEED(TM) line - allow for feed rates up to five times faster than normal in moderate- to heavy-DOC and -FPT applications.
Dapra's Heavy-Feed line is optimized for cuts of 1.250" to 4.000" diameter. Heavy-Feed 12mm IC (inscribed circle) inserts have four usable edges and boast the strongest cross-section of the RHINO-FEED line. End mills and shell mills feature extra-strong top clamping suitable for heavier DOC (up to .060") and larger machines such as 50-taper and box ways.
Dapra's RHINO-FEED line adjusts feed rates to compensate for the significant chip thinning that occurs during high-feed milling when an extreme lead angle is utilized. Mini-Feed and Mid-Feed cutters and inserts are also available for diameters as small as .500" and depths of cut as small as .015". Visit www.dapra.com for more information about this new line and to view product demo videos.
