May 31, 2011 - Manufactured from welded stainless steel, Klixon® Series 2288 features operating temperature range of 0-350°F with preset, non-adjustable calibration and up to 100,000 cycles. Units are designed with snap-acting bimetal disc, which serves as actuating element. Thermostats are suitable for process equipment, pumps and motors, heaters, and liquid temperature control, as well as medical and dental applications such as X-ray machines, MRI machines, autoclaves, and sterilizers.

Sensata Technologies Releases New Model of Precision Thermostats

ALMELO, Netherlands, -- Sensata Technologies Holding N.V. (NYSE:ST), a leading manufacturer of sensors and controls, announces the release of a new model of precision thermostats designed for use in a wide variety of industrial applications where tight temperature tolerances and high resistance to shock and vibration is needed.

Model 2288 is a welded stainless steel hermetically sealed precision thermostat with preset non-adjustable temperature settings rated for 100,000 cycles that is ideally suited for process equipment, pumps and motors, heaters, liquid temperature control, and other critical control equipment as well as medical and dental applications such as X-Ray machines, MRI machines, autoclaves and sterilizers, to name a few.
