Modules are suited for wide variety of distributed I/O applications, including data acquisition and control, process monitoring, and test and measurement. When using modules with NetBiter® webSCADA product, it is possible to monitor/control I/O signals over Ethernet LANs, Internet, or GSM/GPRS networks.

IntelliCom Launch New I/O Concept Based on Ethernet, GSM, GPRS

Halmstad, Sweden, April 21 - IntelliCom launch new Modbus based I/O product range.
NetBiter® I/O Extender series is a collection of analog and discrete I/O modules with Modbus-RTU protocol communication. The NetBiter® I/O extender modules are ideal for a wide variety of distributed I/O applications including data acquisition & control, process monitoring and test & measurement.

The following I/O products are the first to be launched in this new product range:

o IOX-DAIO (4 DI, 2 DO, 2 AI, 1 AO, 2 RTD Temperature)

o IOX-8DIO (8 DI, 8 DO)

o IOX-6RTD (6 RTD temperature)

When using the I/O modules together with the NetBiter® webSCADA product it is possible to monitor/control the I/O signals over Ethernet LAN's, Internet or GSM/GPRS networks. This makes a powerful solution for remote monitoring and control, alarm management and data logging / trend graphs of I/O's.
