Due to be released this May, new features reflect Solcara's commitment to user experience with PDA accessibility, portable bookmarks and a more streamlined interface.
A new feature - the brand new administration toolkit - enhances navigation and adds a neat 'drag and drop' function that allows administrators to manage sources, organising, creating and copying them with ease. Access can now be adapted so end users see only pertinent information; access is secure, remote and there is also a self-registration module.
Solcara has developed the audit functionality of SolSearch to deliver a variety of statistics. Knowledge Management professionals are now able to identify which digital information is most popular and thus justify the value of subscription sources. Being able to identify slow or unavailable sources will help ensure high performance also.
