Saniflex® from General Polymers is the Next-Generation Wall System for Demanding Bio-Pharm Environments
CINCINNATI, OH (July 24. 2002) -SANIFLEX®, the next-generation epoxy-based wall surfacing system from General Polymers, combines outstanding physical properties and excellent aesthetics for today's demanding bio-pharmaceutical environments.
SANIFLEX incorporates EPO-FLEX®, a unique flexible epoxy, to withstand frequent impact during bio-pharmaceutical production and minor movement from the wall surface. This base material will both absorb impact without cracking and bridge substrate cracks up to 1/16" movement.
An improvement over the performance characteristics once expected from traditional fiberglass reinforced epoxy wall systems, SANIFLEX is eight times more impact-resistant and much less expensive to install.
SANIFLEX has fewer installation steps than fiberglass reinforced systems, allowing for faster installation and lower labor costs. The system can be installed utilizing traditional roller application or spray techniques.
SANIFLEX is 100 percent solids (zero VOC) from primer through finish coat. The system is environmentally friendly and has a very low odor that will not adversely affect employees and workers in adjacent areas. The POLY-COTE™ polyurethane topcoat is UV stable and exhibits outstanding chemical resistance. SANIFLEX thus is an ideal choice for new construction or retrofit projects at pharmaceutical operations.
General Polymers offers a complete spectrum of fluid-applied construction products, including such well-known brand names as FasTop™, TRAFFICOTE™, CERAM™, CERAMIC CARPET™, TPM® and EPO-FLEX®. General Polymers' products are used to create durable, chemical resistant and high-impact floor and wall systems used in the manufacturing, petrochemical, processing, commercial and institutional markets.
