October 12, 2011 During their Tenth Plenary Meeting, scheduled for Nov 9, ANSI Homeland Security Standards Panel will examine progress made in advancing homeland security over the past decade and discuss continued path forward. In conjunction with plenary, ANSI-HSSP will host Nov 10 workshop: Standards for Disaster Resilience for Buildings and Physical Infrastructure Systems, which will examine areas where standards and codes are needed to further support physical infrastructure and building resilience.
Electric Vehicles Standards Panel to discuss strategic roadmap.

"Now is the time to help manufacturers in the United States remain competitive," said Timmons, who also pointed out free trade agreements as part of the solution.

As stated by BIO's Brent Erickson, 5-year research and development grants will support public/private sector partners in 22 states while helping grow integrated supply chain of renewable biomass for biorefineries.
