Designed for xDSL modems, GreenPoint(TM) 16 W AC-DC Adapter Reference Design achieves active-mode efficiency of 78% at 120 Vac and 79% at 230 Vac, exceeding ENERGY STAR® guidelines of 74% for both input voltages. In standby-mode, device consumes only 240 mW at 120 Vac and 200 mW at 240 Vac. Key products in reference design include NCP1027 high voltage switcher, MURS160 600 V rectifier, MBRS360 60 V Schottky rectifier, MMSD4148 100 V switching diode, and MMSZ5241B 500 mW Zener diode.

Easy Jack 2 model PX211 turns electrical outlet into CallerID capable phone connection for satellite receivers, digital video recorders, and dial-up modems. Preset security codes prevent base and extension from communicating with other devices in range, and button on base can transmit encoded security key to up to 8 extensions. Device also includes green LED indicating link between base and extension, as well as temperature and static resistance.
