Compatible with swinging-bucket and fixed-angle rotors, Pierce® Concentrators are used for protein concentration, desalting, and buffer exchange. Design, consisting of regenerated cellulose membrane fused to conical device, optimizes concentration factor achieved in single centrifugation step while minimizing polarization and adsorption at membrane surface. Concentration factors of greater than 110-fold can be achieved in less than 45 min with 20 ml device or 30 min with 7 ml device.

CentriVap Cold Trap, also included, reaches -58°F for solvent recovery and traps moisture, vapors, and corrosive fumes as they evaporate. MPU-controlled, 300 W heater accelerates evaporation with constant heat up to +100°C.

If desired, microprocessor-controlled 300 W heater speeds evaporation with constant heat up to 100°C in 1° increments. Quick-Start(TM) One Button Start up activates rotor, heater, timer, and vacuum pump, while Quick-Stop(TM) system stops rotor and vacuum pump and bleeds air into chamber.
