Phased Array Probes offer frequencies from 1-10 MHz.

Compatible with phased array flaw detection equipment, Phased Array Ultrasonic Immersion Transducers can be supplied in flat and curved configurations and can have 32, 64, or 128 computer-controlled elements. Single probe can perform inspection tasks that normally require large numbers of conventional probes or multiple scanning passes. Real-time, sector scan imaging of phased array provides integrated, cross-sectional visualization of any area or component under inspection.

Tank Monitoring System uses ultrasonic probe.

Basing tank level readings on real-time fluid levels, Model LFC electronically manages, maintains, and verifies product delivery and inventory. System automatically provides independent verification of amount delivered. Managing up to 16 ultrasonic tank gauge probes by tracing volumes and monitoring warning levels, system uses modem to link oil company to customers. Remote transfer of data is secured with site IDs, security codes, and keypad phone numbers.

Probes use ultrasound or radar to measure fill levels.

Two-conductor, Sitrans Probes LU and LR continually measure fill level of storage tanks and process vessels, as well as flow rate in open flumes. Interference echoes are automatically filtered out to ensure reliable analysis of echo signals. Ultransonic transceiver, Model LU offers 12 m measuring range in liquids and slurries, while radar level transmitter, Model LR operates at 5.8 GHz or in North America at 6.3 GHz with measuring range of 0.3-20 m.

Ultrasonic Probes have self-cleaning transducers.

Ultrasonic Probes, with 1, 1.5 and 2 NPT mountings, are insensitive to mountings and, with transceiver and smart signal processing, eliminate echos from tank walls, standpipes, and other buildups. Built-in communication with PC allows storage of current output and temperature in data logger. Probes connect to network using RS485 with company's protocol and Modbus RTU.

This story is related to the following:
<a href='http://news.thomasnet.com/news/sensors-monitors-transducers' target='_blank''>Sensors, Monitors and Transducers
<a href='http://news.thomasnet.com/news/test-measuring-instruments' target='_blank''>Test and Measuring Instruments

Search for suppliers of: <a href='http://www.thomasnet.com/products/ultrasonic-probes-63560478-1.html' target='_blank''>Ultrasonic Probes | <a href='http://www.thomasnet.com/products/temperature-probes-63559702-1.html' target='_blank''>Temperature Probes | <a href='http://www.thomasnet.com/products/current-probes-63551352-1.html' target='_blank''>Current Probes
