Designed to test elastomer specimens with cross sectional thickness up to 0.275 in., HPE Type M/AM Digital Micro Shore Durometer fully conforms to ASTM D 2240-00 (Type M) and ISO 7619 (Type AM). It can store up to 300 readings and can be connected to PC for statistical analysis and report generation. Requiring minimal application pressure to attain full scale readings, durometer allows for testing production pieces rather than test slabs.

Comprised of digital display head and detachable presser foot probe, modular S1 Durometer can test dwell time from 1-25 sec. Audible system tells operator when time is complete, ensuring that test forces are applied for same amount of time during each test. Audible tolerance alarm can be set to identify parts that are out of acceptable hardness range. Durometer stores 256 test results and can send results to PC via RS232 connection.
