Comprised of four 9-channel densitometers with handheld-compatible optics, controller, and system software, vipPAQ v2.0 controls optical density of any spot color, enabling accurate ICC color management. System is fully networkable and integrates into every stage of flexographic printing workflow. Throughout print run, vipPAQ monitors density and dot variations due to deviations in substrate, viscosity, speed, pressure, temperature, and ink impurities so that corrective action can be taken.

X-Rite 528 combines capabilities of densitometer and colorimeter into single unit. On 4-color jobs, it provides density, dot gain, trap, print contrast, gray balance, and hue error functions. Users can switch on-the-fly to colorimetry functions when quality control for pastels, Hi-Fi, and PANTONE® is needed. Users can measure up to 24 references and select type of comparison for each. Instrument automatically compares sample reading to closest reference and displays results.
