Video Inspection Crawler performs full-speed scanning.

ROVVER crawlers are available with DigiSewer(TM) digital visual sidewall scanning (DVSS) camera, which enables full-speed, Hi-Res pipeline inspection. By grabbing one frame of video at established intervals, DigiSewer generates complete sidewall scan whose length corresponds to length of pipe and height corresponds to pipe's full circumference. Scans load directly into freeware viewer on any PC for analysis with zoom as well as direct scan measurement and annotation capabilities.

ROVVER 125/225 Series are available with BackEye(TM) auxiliary camera option that enables operators to see behind crawler in order to steer around obstacles and prevent cable tangles during reverse travel. Along with 0.005 lux sensitivity, monochrome camera also includes 3 forward-facing narrow-beam LED lamps to enhance forward viewing. It uses compact IR illumination and consumes 0.8 W of power. Camera's ¼ in. CCD imager measures 765 x 582 pixels.

To perform angular measurement of stationary, large-area CRT, LCD, and plasma screens, GS-940-7X employs 6-axis robotic arm/detector assembly with full reach up to 1.2 m that scans from any user-specified angle. Other components include GS-1290-X Series CCD-array spectroradiometer, display-mounting framework, and user-programmable software for creation of measurement sequences. Producing results with 70 µm accuracy, instrument accommodates any display size, shape, and technology.

Cartesian Robots are configured using Blueline Series of Belt Driven Slides and LP Servo Control Package. They can be designed for up to 1550 x 2600 mm of travel and maximum speeds to 2.4 m/sec. Each axis is contained in aluminum housing with protective top cover. Three axes of simultaneous motion can be provided to perform difficult multi-axis motions. Applications include dispensing, soldering, inspection, automatic screw fastening, and pick and place operations.
