Each configuration features natural frequency, nominal broadband damping and flatness of ±0.004 in. over 24 x 24 in. area. Depending on series, nonmagnetic and ferromagnetic products feature extruded aluminum or honeycomb structural cores and anodized aluminum or stainless steel skins.

Nonmagnetic Series 5500 has structural core of extruded aluminum surrounded by 3/16 in. anodized aluminum skin. Ferromagnetic Series 5600 has extruded aluminum core surrounded by 1/8 in. skin of SS. Honeycomb-core Series 5700 is made of corrosion-resistant, plated-steel hexagonal cells beneath 3/16 in. ferromagnetic SS top skin. Series 5800 has slightly thinner skin. Series 6100 has ferromagnetic SS skin covering aluminum core.
