Brake Management System targets agricultural machines.

Based on electrically variable pumps, zero displacement motors, and intelligent control electronics, Hydrostatic Brake Management System prevents diesel engine from overspeeding. Braking algorithm, which is stored in BODAS controller, moves pump back instantly when pressure is applied to brake pedal, reducing geometric displacement of pump accordingly. Pressure-relief valves fitted to all hydrostatic travel drives allow system to achieve braking effect greater than drag torque of engine.

ESC System features 6-piston pump configuration.

TRW solution is modular multi-piston pump based electronic stability control (ESC) that delivers high pressure build rate. With ability to quickly build brake pressure independent of vacuum boost from the engine, it allows for rapid braking in cold start, low-temperature, and high-altitude scenarios, and is suited for advanced systems such as Automatic Emergency Braking when full stopping force is applied independent of the driver.

Electronic Braking System lends to vehicle stability

Modular, hydraulically closed ESC-R system promotes vehicle stability and fuel efficiency through compatibility with regenerative braking systems within hybrid vehicles. It is based on Standard Electronic Stability Control system with conventional booster and master cylinder, vacuum pump (if required), and brake volume displacement simulator. While causing no change in pedal feel, system configuration provides blend of regenerative/hydraulic brake output based on driver demand.

Electronic Motor Brake rapidly stops AC induction motors.

Solid-state DYNA-STOP II DC injection motor brake stops motors from spinning by employing zero speed function, which monitors motor rotation and applies DC current until motor has stopped, regardless of load. Brake has no mechanical shafts to connect and installs on 2â¤"40 hp motors by connecting 7 wires. Standard features include soft starting of DC to protect SCR life, motor starter interlock, and frictionless operation.

This story is related to the following:
<a href='http://news.thomasnet.com/news/mechanical-power-transmission' target='_blank''>Mechanical Power Transmission

Electronic Braking System suits industrial applications.

Braketronic® Controller utilizes solid-state drive technology to provide variable torque control to industrial shoe and disc brakes. Product enables single or multiple brakes to be proportionally controlled by foot pedal, master switch, or radio as well as selectively by aforementioned means. Controller may also be configured to gradually apply brakes by pre-programmed ramping, initiated by single-step control devices or pendant stations.

This story is related to the following:
<a href='http://news.thomasnet.com/news/controls-controllers' target='_blank''>Controls and Controllers
<a href='http://news.thomasnet.com/news/mechanical-power-transmission' target='_blank''>Mechanical Power Transmission

Search for suppliers of: <a href='http://www.thomasnet.com/products/brake-controls-18271403-1.html' target='_blank''>Brake Controls | <a href='http://www.thomasnet.com/products/electronic-brakes-7800105-1.html' target='_blank''>Electronic Brakes
