Based on Canstar(TM) technology, FCI Fiber Optics product line is comprised of fiber optic multimode/single-mode couplers, splitters, taps, wavelength division multiplexers (WDMs), cable assemblies, and adaptors. Couplers are offered for various design specifications, including one-in, many-out couplers; WDMs; and one-in, 2-out couplers available as even- or ratio-split. FCI attenuators, or one-in, one-out couplers for attenuating all wavelengths, are also available.

Ruggedized Splitter offers Outside Plant fiber connectivity.

APACN ruggedized splitter withstands temperatures from -55 to +85°C and provides fiber protection, management, and maintenance in FTTx deployments. One-touch turn-up design allows output legs to be handled only during customer turn-up, reducing human handling. As component of Fiber Scalability Center Outside Plant cabinets, splitter supports one 1 x 32, two 1 x 16, or four 1 x 8 configurations without penalty in real estate or port counts.

Splitters and DWDM Components suit passive optical networks.

Outside plant (OSP) splitters offer re-enterable closures for node scalability. LGX® module splitters integrate into existing optical shelves in central office and head-end of optical access network. Design permits accessibility to network ports, while providing network modularity with pluggable modules. Arrayed Waveguide Grating DWDM MUX/DMUX has insertion loss of less than 3.5 dB and 40 channels set on ITU 100 GHz channel spacing.

This story is related to the following:
<a href='http://news.thomasnet.com/news/communication-systems-equipment' target='_blank''>Communication Systems and Equipment

Search for suppliers of: <a href='http://www.thomasnet.com/products/fiber-optic-splitters-76961655-1.html' target='_blank''>Fiber Optic Splitters
