Sheet-Fed Laminating/Die-Cutting system feeds sheets of foam through water-heated laminating station, laminates 2 layers of adhesive to top of material, and laminates substrate to bottom. It feeds sheets to optically registered die-cutter, which cuts out final product. Product is removed from matrix by knockout station onto side-exiting conveyor. Matrix is sheeter cut to conveyor for waste disposal. System uses PID loop to control tension.

Optically registered die-cutter cuts out product. Finished product is knocked out of web at knock-out station, conveyed to operator, and remaining matrix is scrap cut. Product can also be left in web, sheeted into sheets of product, and stacked.
