Along with passive, air-cooled design, mode stripping SMA cable assemblies have integrated mode stripper that dissipates up to 25 W of power from cladding. This ensures clean output and enables power handling to 100, 250, and 350 W for 100, 200, and 400 µm cores, respectively. Epoxy-free, cantilevered nose design isolates optical fiber from ferrule, preventing thermal and contamination issues. Cables contain all-silica fiber, and fiber tips are laser polished for optimal transmission.
