SelectAlloy 308LTO-3 (E308LTO-3) contains nominal weld metal composition of 21% chromium and 10% nickel with maximum carbon content of .03%, while SelectAlloy 309LTO-3 (E309LTO-3) has nominal weld metal composition of 24% chromium and 13% nickel with maximum carbon content of .03%. Compositions make weld metal resistant to intergranular corrosion.

Both offer max carbon content of .03%, which minimizes carbide precipitation and provides resistance to intergranular corrosion. Silicon levels in each facilitate bead wetting.
