Apr 26, 2006 Models GMR 21 and GMR 41 digitally process radar data within radome via DSP and present it on GPSMAP® 3000 series chartplotters. They feature 3.6° horizontal and 25° vertical beam width; GMR 21 has range of 24 nautical miles and 2 kW power output while GMR 41 extends to 36 nautical miles and 4 kW output. Units operate in -15 to 70°C temperatures and in RH up to 95% at 35°C. Radar overlay capability allows boaters to reconcile radar signatures with known objects on chartplotter.

It uses rocker switches and digital serial bus to operate heavy electrical equipment such as blowers, winches, pumps or lighting.
