The Eraser Company Incorporated offers the Glo-Ring Infrared Heat Tool for use in shrinking heat shrinkable tubing and material used in the assembly of all types of electrical and medical equipment. The Glo-Ring is a hand held, lightweight tool that uses infrared heat to penetrate and shrink tubings. Its circular quartz elements open and close to encircle the workpiece, resulting in quick, even heating and shrinking. The Glo-Ring does not blow hot air, nor does it contain a motor, allowing to be used in a clean room. Four sizes of elements from ½" OD to 3" OD are available. A variable temperature control on the handpiece regulates the amount of heat to the elements.
