X-ray Diffraction Detector offers 0.3 ms read-out times.GE Sensing
Billerica, MA 01821
Aug 25, 2008
Able to be operated as point (0D) and linear (1D) detector, Meteor1D uses single photon counting principle and incorporates semiconductor technology. Maintenance-free unit, compliant with health and safety regulations, requires no gas or cooling and does not employ any Beryllium. In static and scanning mode, with energies from 5 keV (Cr) to 18 keV (Mo), detection efficiency is greater than 98% for copper. Detector housing accommodates detection angle (2 Theta) of more than 170º.

Silicon Drift Detector is capable of low-energy detection.Thermo Fisher Scientific
Waltham, MA 02454
Aug 16, 2007
Suited for electron microscopes, UltraDry offers capabilities that allow for detection of low-energy X-rays down to Beryllium. Clear peak separations in low-energy region facilitate interpretation of spectra and promote confidence in analysis, while X-ray detection performance allows for collection of data at optimized count rates without affecting energy resolution or light element sensitivity. Large-area detector can be coupled with NORAN System SIX and Direct-to-Phase software.

X-Ray Molecular Spectrometer helps identifiy potential threats.Optosecurity Inc.
Québec G1P 4S4 Canada
Dec 06, 2006
Interpreting standard checkpoint 2-D X-Ray tomography to identify containers and their contents, Optosecurity XMS (X-Ray Molecular Spectrometer) recognizes potential threats according to their unique molecular signatures and identifies innocuous materials and liquids that may be assembled into explosives. Product can be connected to existing x-ray checkpoint systems to improve threat detection and works inline without requiring secondary offline processes.

X-Ray Detector suits protein crystallography.Bruker AXS GmbH
Germany
Sep 02, 2005
Designed for macromolecular X-ray crystallography, ÅXIOM 200 has essentially zero detector noise, and is able to record each individual X-ray photon as it strikes detector. By eliminating readout dead-time, imaging system supports continuous scans where goniostat is scanned without stopping between frames. Active area of 200 mm diameter and high spatial resolution allows large protein crystal unit cells to be resolved.
