LC Detector can analyze non-ionizable compounds.

Agilent Technologies, Inc
Santa Clara, CA 95051
Jan 08, 2008 Series 1200 evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) offers isocratic and gradient analysis of non- and semi-volatile compounds independent of compound's absorbance, fluorescence, or electro-activity. Liquid chromatography (LC) detector features applicability for Rapid Resolution Chromatography (RRLC) with peak widths of 1 sec, 4 nebulizers to cover all HPLC techniques from low l-to semi-preparative flow rates, and convenient front access to facilitate inspection and maintenance.

UV Sensor comes with calibration capability.

EMX Industries, Inc.
Cleveland, OH 44128
May 15, 2007 Series UVX-300-GC UV luminescence sensors provide calibration through proprietary software algorithms that offers one-time calibration of all sensors before distribution in system. Sensors are used on assembly lines to detect presence or absence of components such as O-ring seals, adhesives, labels, paint, and lubricants. They can also detect transparent objects. Units offer remote lock feature that prevents unauthorized changes to sensor settings.

Balluff, Inc.
Florence, KY 41042-0937
Nov 17, 2006 Able to detect UV luminescent materials/markers over distances to 300 mm, BLT 31M combines adjustable light projection and high resolution to suit part detection and error proofing applications. Sensing range helps avoid incidental contact in manufacturing process, while 6 kHz response time suits high-speed applications. With optional 50 mm lens, projected light can be directed into 5 mm spot. Sensor includes auto-teach and manual programming as well as analog and discrete outputs.

LC System works with PDA, TUV, and ELS detectors.

Waters Corp.
Milford, MA 01757
Feb 01, 2006 Waters® ACQUITY UPLC(TM) Ultra Performance LC(TM) (UPLC(TM)) is available with photodiode array (PDA), evaporative light scattering (ELS), and tunable ultraviolet (TUV) detectors for high-resolution analysis of compounds. Liquid chromatography (LC) system enables control over detector programming and monitoring from within Waters Empower(TM) chromatography software or MassLynx(TM) mass spectrometry software. PDA and TUV detectors support data rates to 80 Hz.

Mine Safety Appliances Company / Instrument Division
Pittsburgh, PA 15230
Dec 06, 2005 Designed to detect UV and/or IR radiation emitted by hydrocarbon-based fires and flames, FlameGard Detectors operate as stand-alone units or can be connected to fire or security system. They are enclosed in copper-free, explosion-proof aluminum housings and can be mounted with bracket or optional swivel mount kit. In dusty environments, optional air purge kit keeps viewing glass clear. Detectors are FM approved and include false alarm suppression.

UV Process Supply, Inc.
Chicago, IL 60614-4805
Sep 01, 2005 UV FastCheck™ Strips are used to determine levels of accumulated UV dose via visual inspection of 5 separate color changing zones. Made from same material, UV Intensity Labels operate on same color changing principle but display UV dose accumulation via 1 color changing zone. They measure UV doses from 0 mJ/cm² to greater than 5,000 mJ/cm². Strips measure 2 1/8 x ½ in., while labels measure 1 x ¾ in.

General Monitors
Lake Forest, CA 92630
Jul 29, 2005 Microcontroller-based, ATEX-approved UV/IR Model FL3110 and UV Model FL3111 include flicker-discrimination circuitry and self-checking continuous optical path monitoring to ensure fire protection. Both feature segregated wiring compartment where field terminations can be made without exposing ex-proof section to elements. Electronics are integral within stainless steel explosion-proof housing, allowing information to be processed at point of detection.

Keyence Corporation of America
Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07675
Jan 25, 2005 Digital Model CZ-H52 detects materials that are invisible to naked eye, and can not be detected by photoelectric sensors. Unit emits UV light beam from transmitter in sensor head, and receiver picks up visible light reflected by fluorescent materials. Sputtered gold coating on receiver lens eliminates reflections from ambient and stray light. Detection range is 0.98–2.17 in. and minimum beam spot size is 0.39 in. at distance of 0.98 in. from target.

EMX Industries, Inc.
Cleveland, OH 44128
Dec 30, 2004 With operating distance to 350 mm, UVX-300G UV luminescence sensor detects glue and adhesives in assembly and manufacturing processes. It discriminates targets in any orientation from similarly colored backgrounds and offers 5 user-selectable gain settings and readings from 0-99. Features include adjustable light projection, numerical display of reading intensity, and auto-teach and manual calibration. Feedback response time is rated at 6 kHz.

MSA
Pittsburgh, PA 15230 0426
Oct 14, 2004 FlameGard® UV/IR Flame Detector detects UV and IR radiation emitted by hydrocarbon-fueled fires and responds by activating relay, which can be part of fire alarm loop or connected to digital control system. Enclosed in heavy duty, copper-free, explosionproof aluminum housing, unit provides stand-alone operation or can be connected to standard 4-wire fire control panels. Optional Air Purge Kit keeps viewing glass clear in dusty environments.
