IP67-rated devices feature aluminum construction and are resistant to seawater making them suitable for offshore use. With installation depth of 145 mm and diameter of 70 mm, encoders offer up to 5,000 ppr and operate from -40 to 140°F. As absolute multiturn or singleturn encoders, series features both SSI and field bus interfaces.

Jul 01, 2014 Using 2 Sin/Cos signals offset by 90°, from which quasi-continuous control behavior can be derived, Kübler Sendix 5814 and 5834 provide interpolable Sin/Cos differential signals with U = 1 VSS. Subdivision by control of sinusoidal curve produces high resolution that, due to signal quality of encoders, can be interpolated up to 16 bits. Supplied in die-cast zinc housing, IP65-rated encoders resist interference and operate from -40 to 194°F, making them suitable for motor feedback applications.
