Coated to handle corrosive chemicals, PTFE lined sight flow indicator provides clear view of corrosive chemical processes at temperatures to 500°F. Flanged unit, with window as sole exception, has PTFE PFA lining that covers all surfaces subject to chemical exposure. For demanding applications, shields made of FEP®, KEL-F®, or mica are also available to protect sight glass. Available in 7 sizes from 1-8 in., models come in 150 or 300 psi versions with drip tube or flutter flow indicators.

Compliant to European 94/9/EG guidelines, Series GN 743.6 metric sized ATEX explosive protective fluid level sight glasses feature body of turned aluminum, ESG scratch-proof glass sight glass, stainless steel retaining ring, and seal made of FPM rubber (Viton®). Sealed with o-ring on periphery and not on face edge of glass makes leak tightness unaffected by axial pressures. Seal is also housed in groove and cannot be lost. Cold/heat resistance range is -4° to 300°F.

Made of soda-lime glass, RD300 sight window has outside ring diameter of 295 mm and viewing area diameter of 220 mm. Expanding tubular rubber gasket around perimeter, sandwiched between rings, conforms to irregularities in cement walls and ports to create gas-tight seal. Several options - motorized wiper, manual wiper, washer assembly, Lumiglas® light, Lumiglas VISULEX video camera - are available and facilitate remote operation.
