Ball Nuts withstand harsh environments.Bosch Rexroth Corporation
Hoffman Estates, IL 60192-3707
Sep 24, 2004 Ball Screw Assemblies are offered with precision screws, zero-clearance preloaded nuts, or adjustable single nuts. Choice of seals provide wiping action and prevent fine dusts, chips, or coolants from penetrating nuts. Complete drive units with integrated ball screw assembly, plus matching pillow blocks and nut housings are available with screw supports for maximum linear velocity. Units are suited for feed, positioning, and transportation tasks in metalworking machines. |
LM Guides and Ball Screws utilize caged ball technology.THK America, Inc.
Schaumburg, IL 60173 5340
Sep 03, 2004 Measuring 976 x 540 x 300 mm, Type SNS300 LM Guide features 4-direction, equal load rating. Available in sizes up to 12025, Heavy Load Ball Screw Type HBN performs 100,000 cycles without problems when tested for durability under 118 kN load, 48 mm stroke, 3.8 m/min max conditions. Operation at higher ambient temperatures is identical at 20 and 80°C temperatures. Ball screw achieves increase in max nut rpm, 130,000 DN. |
Ball Screw is designed for higher speeds.THK America, Inc.
Schaumburg, IL 60173 5340
Aug 31, 2004 With feed ratings to 200 m/min and permissible DN values to 210,000, Type SBK utilizes Caged Technology, which employs synthetic resin cage with curvature that cradles each ball and separates it from next. This helps decrease noise and dust generation, while overall design eliminates ball re-circulation tubes. For ball screw contamination protection, QZ Lubricator and Wiper Rings are available as options. Type SBK sizes range from 3636–5050. |

Schaumburg, IL 60173 5340
Sep 12, 2002 Type SBK ball screw achieves maximum feeds of 120 m/min and permissible DN value of 160,000. Utilization of Caged Technology prevents ball-to-ball contact and associated friction, and allows balls to smoothly circulate in tangential line. Cage also acts as reservoir for lubricants, eliminating need for external lubricating system. Optional wiper ring acts as barrier to prevent foreign matter and swarf from entering nut interior. |
Miniature Ball Screw uses internal ball-return technology.Danaher Motion/Thomson Ball & Lead Screws
Mayfield Heights, OH 44124
Sep 12, 2002
Miniature Ball Screw provides 95% typical efficiency. Standard diameter starts at 4 mm, with 1 mm lead. Manufactured as both rolled and ground unit, it is also available in range of precision classes, from ISO3 to ISO7 (0.012/300 mm to 0.050/300 mm). Ball screw has nylon wipers to protect from ingress of contamination and can be supplied with ends machined to customer's specification.
