Ball Screws offer quiet operation.

Ball Screws offer quiet operation.

NSK    Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Jun 10, 2008 Providing maximum rotational speed of 5,000 rpm, Compact FA Series of ball screws are suited for spanning semiconductor, medical, factory automation, and general manufacturing industries. Lubrication is made possible via grease fitting, while 2 ports allow for maintenance or inclusion into integrated lubrication system. Ball screws feature sealing technology that minimizes grease dispersion and contributes to clean working environment.

Long Lead Ball Screws feature rotating nut design.

SKF Motion Technologies    Lansdale, PA 19446
Mar 03, 2006 Ranging from 25-50 mm dia with leads from 20-50 mm, Series SLT features rotating nut with axial play, while Series BLT includes backlash elimination. Design allows drive motor to move with nut to minimize inertia and achieve linear speeds to 110 m/min. Rotating nuts realize max transmissible torque up to 803 Nm and max transmissible axial load up to 162 kN, depending on type. Applications include packaging and automation systems, laser cutting, and production machinery.

Precision Alliance, The    Fort Mill, SC 29708
Jul 01, 2005 At 1.8 mm, FBS series is precision-ground and can be provided with and without preload. Product is suited for applications requiring smooth motion and backlash-free positioning, such as semiconductor metrology, miniature surgery devices, micro surgery devices, as well as optical alignment and sighting devices.

Bosch Rexroth Corp.    Hoffman Estates, IL 60192-3707
Sep 24, 2004 Ball Screw Assemblies are offered with precision screws, zero-clearance preloaded nuts, or adjustable single nuts. Choice of seals provide wiping action and prevent fine dusts, chips, or coolants from penetrating nuts. Complete drive units with integrated ball screw assembly, plus matching pillow blocks and nut housings are available with screw supports for maximum linear velocity. Units are suited for feed, positioning, and transportation tasks in metalworking machines.

Sep 03, 2004 Measuring 976 x 540 x 300 mm, Type SNS300 LM Guide features 4-direction, equal load rating. Available in sizes up to 12025, Heavy Load Ball Screw Type HBN performs 100,000 cycles without problems when tested for durability under 118 kN load, 48 mm stroke, 3.8 m/min max conditions. Operation at higher ambient temperatures is identical at 20 and 80°C temperatures. Ball screw achieves increase in max nut rpm, 130,000 DN.

Aug 31, 2004 With feed ratings to 200 m/min and permissible DN values to 210,000, Type SBK utilizes Caged Technology, which employs synthetic resin cage with curvature that cradles each ball and separates it from next. This helps decrease noise and dust generation, while overall design eliminates ball re-circulation tubes. For ball screw contamination protection, QZ Lubricator and Wiper Rings are available as options. Type SBK sizes range from 3636–5050.

Danaher Motion MCD    Amherst, NY 14228
Oct 01, 2002 Manufactured using PSF Technologyâ„¢, FineLine precision ball screws are available certified to ISO accuracy grade P3 (P5 and T5 grades are also available). Metric and English leads are offered in screw lengths up to 6 m, depending on diameter; diameters range from 12 to 80 mm. Matched ball nuts are offered in 4 flange styles. Applications include machine tools, robots, assembly and packaging equipment, and plastic molding machines.

Sep 12, 2002 Type SBK ball screw achieves maximum feeds of 120 m/min and permissible DN value of 160,000. Utilization of Caged Technology prevents ball-to-ball contact and associated friction, and allows balls to smoothly circulate in tangential line. Cage also acts as reservoir for lubricants, eliminating need for external lubricating system. Optional wiper ring acts as barrier to prevent foreign matter and swarf from entering nut interior.

Danaher Motion/Thomson Ball & Lead Screws    Mayfield Heights, OH 44124
Sep 12, 2002 Miniature Ball Screw provides 95% typical efficiency. Standard diameter starts at 4 mm, with 1 mm lead. Manufactured as both rolled and ground unit, it is also available in range of precision classes, from ISO3 to ISO7 (0.012/300 mm to 0.050/300 mm). Ball screw has nylon wipers to protect from ingress of contamination and can be supplied with ends machined to customer's specification.

Steinmeyer    Bedford, MA 01730
May 31, 2002 Series 1510 compensates for torque variations due to inaccuracies in ground thread. Diameters range from 3 to 16 mm with pitch down to 0.5 mm. Standard nut body is cylindrical with attaching thread. Applications include semiconductor production machines, inspection equipment, microscope stages, and miniature robotics. Series 1530 offers rolled thread for less demanding positioning applications. Diameters range from 8 to 16 mm, with pitches down to 0.5 mm.
