Glass surfaces are mirror polished and available in 8 mm thickness with 1.8-2.0 lead equivalency as well as 11 and 14 mm thickness to yield 2.5/2.7 and 3.0/3.2 lead equivalency. STF Sheetless ThermoForming(TM) produces large thermoformed parts on 3-5 trolleys in circular track architecture, coating molten polymer directly onto onboard traditional thermoforming molds in one process cycle. Composed of electrical grade epoxy resin combined with woven glass substrate, NP511B can be molded in conjunction with abrasion-resistant substrates such as Kevlar(TM) or Nomex(TM) to minimize or eliminate surface wear damage to copper and steel components in generators. Non-brominated resin system offers mechanical strength at temperatures to 170°C. When cured properly, NP511B retains half of its room temperature flexural strength at temperatures to 150°C.
