To simplify survey work, Ekahau Site Survey (ESS) v7.0 combines enterprise-grade scalability with data collection from multiple Wi-Fi adapters (802.11ac and 802.11n WLAN) and touchscreen surveying support for tablets. This functionality accelerates survey speed for WLAN engineers and IT administrators while maintaining WLAN measurement accuracy. Conducted by Kinetic Systems engineers, on-site surveys ascertain potentially damaging vibration amplitudes and frequencies in new buildings or existing facilities to determine whether or not vibration control is required. Tools measure vertical and horizontal vibrations over required frequency range and average data over time. Further analysis takes into account weights, footprints, centers of gravity, and expected uses of devices to be protected as well as max allowable vibration.
