Laser Model RLE interferometer-based encoder uses fiber optic links to transport laser beam directly to axis measuring position. Optical beam-steerer reduces laser alignment to simple bolt-down and dial-in process. Using retroreflectors or plane mirrors, system can be applied to axis lengths up to 4 m. It allows outputs in digital RS422 format quadrature, with resolutions from 10-633 nm, or 1 Vpp Sin/Cos signals.

Model 7268C miniature piezoresistive accelerometer employs micro-machined sensors with integral mechanical stops. Three-axis unit has minimum damping, thereby producing no phase shift over useful frequency range. Two active arms and two internal precision fixed resistors provide shunt calibration, while internal diodes furnish electrostatic discharge protection. Acceleration ranges are 500 and 2000 g full scale, and operating temperature is 0-150°F.
