Suppression System extinguishes engine compartment fires.

Suppression System extinguishes engine compartment fires.

Firetrace International
Scottsdale, AZ 85260
Oct 01, 2002 Firetrace® Fire Suppression System requires no electricity or external power. Polymer tubing can be routed anywhere within engine compartment. When exposed to open flame, tubing ruptures, dispensing entire contents of cylinder containing fire-suppression agent such as FM-200®, C02, dry chemical powders, and foam. System is totally self-contained and helps prevent extensive vehicle damage. It is suitable for enclosed spaces within vehicles of 250 ft³ or less.

Aug 13, 2002 Firetrace® Automatic Fire Suppression System is totally self-contained and features flexible, polymer tubing which can be routed anywhere within cabinet up to 250 cu ft. It is armed with 3 to 20 lbs of fire suppression agent such as FM-200®, CO2, dry chemical powders, or foam. When detection tubing is exposed to flame, it automatically ruptures to form nozzle and dispenses all of fire suppression agent. System requires no electricity or external power.

Fire Combat (A Div. Of Sensor Electronics Corp.)
Marinette, WI 54143
Feb 27, 2002 Mounted on pickup bed or trailer, Halotron/I can be quickly moved to quench fires. It can also be mounted on skid to give on-site protection for aircraft hangars, offshore platforms, turbine/generator sets, and transformer vaults. Rig has 300 cu. ft cylinder carrying compressed argon and 460 lb Halotron-filled tank. In operation, pressurized argon spews out Halotron at 225 psi, effectively smothering fire. It meets EPA and FAA requirements.
