Nov 28, 2001 Y1MR Hytool has 4 color-coded die grooves and accommodates No. 8 to No. 1 copper lugs and splices as well as copper C-Tap connectors. In addition to standard red, blue and grey grooves, it has combination brown/green die groove, which can be used for standard brown applications and crimping green YAICL-type connector with No. 1 AWG or No. 2 Flex Cu conductor. Die will emboss connector with brown No. 10 and green No. 11 indexes for inspections.
