Powder coating has evenly dispersed active copper oxide and silver ions in polymer matrix that is fully melted when applied with thermal spray process. If there should be break or tear in coating, nylon modified fuse bond epoxy between hull and coating maintains integrity. Active ingredients are strongly held and always available in coating, minimizing ablating.

Nylon 11 prevents galvanic corrosion between dissimilar materials, while thick coating of epoxy powder can be used on sharp metal parts to prevent cutting.
