Optical Chopper/Shutter offers 10 ms response with no click.Electro-Optical Products Corporation
Glendale, NY 11385
Apr 23, 2013
Featuring variable frequency from DC–25 Hz, Model CH-62 consists of blade mounted on motor with limited rotation angle. Current in one direction will set chopper to open position, while current in other direction will set chopper to close position. In internal mode, CH-62 is used as variable low frequency chopper with frequency set by internal oscillator adjustable from 1–25 Hz. In external mode, CH-62 is used as chopper or shutter and is controlled by external TTL signal input up to 25 Hz.

Rotary Piezo Shutters target defense optronics industry.Johnson Electric
New Territories Hong Kong (prc)
Dec 20, 2012
Optimized for non-uniformity correction and filter changers in defense applications, Nanomotion Shutters feature direct drive piezo technology with closed loop control, delivering silent operation and low EMI/RFI profiles. Mechanical design creates closest back-working distance and does not conflict with footprint of video assembly. Housed in 8 x 20 mm package weighing less than 2 g, shutters provide 35–120° travel and are suited for in-flight, head-mounted, or handheld devices.

Laser Shutters provide multimillion-cycle operation.CVI MELLES GRIOT
Rochester,, NY 14620
Nov 21, 2012
Based on rotor drive actuation technology, SafeClose™ Laser Shutters maintain safe laser conditions by closing automatically when power is interrupted. Units feature fail-safe magnetic blade return mechanism and gold-plated blade design for high laser damage thresholds. Other optional blade coatings are available to meet specific laser line performance requirements. Operating from -40 to +70°C, shutters offer shock and vibration resistance and do not require separate controller.

Optical Shutters handle extreme environmental conditions.Melles Griot Optics Group
Rochester, NY 14620
Jul 20, 2006
Designed for operation in harsh environmental conditions, ExtremeService(TM) shutters features temperature-insensitive design that performs over -40°C to +70°C range. Blade coatings are highly emissive in IR spectral region, making shutters suitable for calibrating uncooled sensors in FLIR systems. Additional applications include night vision cameras, analytical instrumentation, IR-illumination systems, as well as metrology and photonics instrumentation.
