Nov 01, 2013 Constructed via application of thin layer of aluminum MicroWires to glass window, High Contrast IR Wire Grid Polarizers are suited for polarizing light from IR laser sources or attenuating light from polarized IR lasers. Wire grid technology lets angle of incidence vary +20° without performance loss, while lightweight, thin silicon substrate suits weight-sensitive systems. Six models are available in 12.5 x 12.5 mm, 12 x 25 mm, and 50 x 50 mm sizes for 3–5 µm or 7–15 µm wavelengths.
