Hyperpolarizer Upgrade Kit doubles polarization levels.

January 19, 2015

Available to owners of 9800 Series Polarean Xenon Hyperpolarizers, Upgrade Kit enables users to consistently reach polarization levels of 20–25%. Hyperpolarization technology produces hyperpolarized inert xenon gas, used in conjunction with standard MRI imaging to create high resolution 3-D images of human lung. Higher levels of polarization can reduce amount of Xenon to be inhaled, without compromising image quality, which is especially important in pediatric studies. Read More

Broadband Polarizers feature wide acceptance angles of ±40°.

January 9, 2015

Available in 25.4 mm and 38.1 mm diameters with thickness of 2.2 mm, Broadband Polarizers provide consistent transmitted contrast from 300–2,700 nm. Linear units are made with fused silica substrate and feature wide operating temperature of -50 to 80°C. Suited for use with uncollimated light sources, RoHS-compliant polarizers target broadband applications from UV to SWIR, where wire grid polarizers are not practical. Read More

Wire Grid Polarizers suit broadband infrared applications.

November 1, 2013

Constructed via application of thin layer of aluminum MicroWires to glass window, High Contrast IR Wire Grid Polarizers are suited for polarizing light from IR laser sources or attenuating light from polarized IR lasers. Wire grid technology lets angle of incidence vary +20° without performance loss, while lightweight, thin silicon substrate suits weight-sensitive systems. Six models are available in 12.5 x 12.5 mm, 12 x 25 mm, and 50 x 50 mm sizes for 3–5 µm or 7–15 µm wavelengths. Read More

Plastic Linear Polarizers reduce glare and improve contrast.

March 16, 2012

Offering transmission of unpolarized light from 400-700 nm, TECHSPEC® High Contrast Plastic Linear Polarizers improve contrast by reducing glare in diverse imaging applications. Products utilize stretched PVA film to create polarization axis. For increased protection and durability, film is laminated between 2 plastic plates. Polarizers are available unmounted in sizes from 12.5-300 mm dia, from 50 x 50 mm up to 300 x 300 mm as well as 500 x 600 and 900 x 600 mm. Read More
