EXTREME-compatible XENPAK models include 10GBASE-LR transceivers with link length up to 10 km on standard 1,310 nm single-mode fiber. ER XENPAK module can operate up to 40 km on 1,550 nm single-mode fiber, while SR XENPAK module supports distances up to 300 m on 850 multimode fiber.
