Featuring intuitive graphical user interface, Model SAS-400 uses hot sulfuric acid to remove protective coating from fiber while maintaining fiber's intrinsic strength. Automated system can strip fiber section up to 40 mm long and can remove variety of coating types, including acrylate and polymide. Also capable of center stripping fiber, Model SAS-400 is suitable for fiber Bragg grating manufacture and for metalizing fiber sections.
