Pulsed Pockels Cell Driver features miniature design.

OmniPulse Technology    San Diego, CA 92121
Apr 02, 2012 Measuring 0.7 x 1.3 x 2.0 in., Model PCD-3-20 utilizes FET drive circuitry which delivers 2–3.2 kV pulse to 30 pF load in less than 20 ns. Miniature solid-state unit is suited for use in ultra-compact Q-switched lasers or compact optical systems where size and weight are key considerations. Input voltage is +12 V, and other input and output voltage ranges are available.

SiGe Chipset delivers 4 x 10 Gbps for optical interconnects.

GigOptix Inc.    Palo Alto, CA 94303
Jul 22, 2008 Comprised of 4 x 10.3 Gbps Transimpedance Limiting Amplifier (HXR4104) and 4 x 10.3 Gbps Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser driver (HXT4104), HXR/T4104 chipset is fully programmable via 2-wire interface. This enables control of signal peaking, modulation, and average currents while also providing access to temperature and output power monitoring on channel-by-channel basis. Parallel VCSEL driver is compatible with QSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA).

VCSEL Driver is optimized for low power dissipation.

GigOptix Inc.    Palo Alto, CA 94303
Jun 25, 2008 Model HXT4104 is 4-channel 10.3 Gbps Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) driver that can drive 10 mA average and 8 mA modulation current, and dissipates 91 mW of power per channel. Parallel VCSEL driver is digitally programmable via industry standard 2-wire interface, enabling control of signal peaking, modulation, and average current, in addition to providing access to temperature and output power monitoring on channel by channel basis.

Preemphasis Driver incorporates receive equalizer.

Maxim Integrated Products    Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Nov 26, 2007 Available in 3 x 3 mm package, Model MAX3984 is 1-10 Gbps preemphasis driver that can drive up to 10 m of cable or 30 in. of FR4 circuit board. It provides 4 preemphasis settings on transmit side and SFP-compliant loss-of-signal detection on receive side. Low-jitter, high-performance cable driver utilizes analog equalization technology, and is suited for 8.5 Gbps Fibre Channel, 10 Gbps Ethernet, SFP active copper-cable assemblies, and system-backplane drivers/receivers.

TMDS Cable Driver/Equalizer suit HDMI/DVI applications.

Maxim Integrated Products    Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Sep 12, 2007 Offered in 5 x 5 mm packaged suited for placement directly at HDMI or DVI interface, MAX3814 TMDS® digital video equalizer and cable driver absorbs output reflections and provides 15 dB of signal-loss compensation for up to 2 m of FR-4 circuit board traces or 20 m of 24 AWG cable. Selectable current mode enables use of 200 W back-termination resistors. Allowing flexible pin assignment, all 4 inputs and outputs behave identically.
