PV Tracker points panels at sun from sunrise to sunset.
Concord, MA 01742
Oct 04, 2012
Utilizing heliostat technology, PV Tracker can hold up to 200 W of solar PV panels. Dual-axis active solar tracker is self-powered with onboard solar cells, and entirely self-contained with all sensors, computers, and geared motors onboard. Bend-don't-break technology allows system to weather-vane in wind should excessive wind speeds occur. With PV Tracker, panels can perform at maximum efficiency and can therefore increase energy output by up to 100%.
Solar PV Tracking System improves LCOE for utility-scale plants.
San Jose, CA 95134
Oct 31, 2011
Used in regions with high solar irradiance through direct sunlight, C7 Tracker concentrates sun's power 7X to achieve lowest possible levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) for solar power plants. Solution combines single-axis tracking technology with parabolic mirror rows, reflecting light onto 22.8% efficient SunPower Maxeon(TM) solar cells. While modular solar cell receivers allow performance upgrades, Tracker Monitoring and Control System provides wireless control of power plant.
