Featuring low-maintenance design, Flexible Torque Limiter Coupling connects 2 supported shafts while providing overload protection for machine components. Multiple facings are spring-engaged to transmit torque to driven shaft until pre-set torque range is exceeded. Torque limiter then slips under load until jam is cleared or manual/sensor-triggered shutdown occurs. Backlash-free metal bellows couplings have pluggable, removable clamping hub. Tightening torque values increase with increasing OD of coupling hubs, which range from 27-84 mm, and bore sizes range from 3-40 mm. Stainless steel versions are available upon request, but standard materials are aluminum for sizes 2-60 and steel for sizes 80-150.
