Heat detection features identify signs of overheating, and can automatically activate fans to dissipate heat, without operator intervention. Guard design dissipates heat, while allowing access to brake pads.

Air pressure is supplied to increase or decrease brake torque during unwind process of paper, film, foil, or fabric. High temperature O-rings and bearings allow units to run at max thermal capacity. Self-contained SA brakes are fully-assembled and mounted onto unwind shaft. Series TA brakes use standard QD® bushing for mounting.
