Aug 14, 2006 AlumaSeal 96(TM) and AlumaSeal 384(TM) Aluminum Foils feature single-tab-design for protecting samples in microplates during polymerase chain reaction (PCR) gene amplification or cold storage. Pierceable by pipette tips or robotic probes, foil and adhesives tolerate temperatures from -80 to +150°C. AlumaSeal 96 is designed to fit inside raised-rim plates, and both foils are certified free of DNase, RNase, and nucleic acid.

Product, which shields against magnetic and electrical fields, is non-flammable and resistant to aging. It can also be used as load bearing basis for floor finishing and floor covering. Doors with hf-seals, vent panels, shielded windows, and power filters are available.
